Who is LyVell G?
I was born in Delaware, lived in Virginia and enlisted in the Army fresh out of high school. After serving in Iraq and earning a Purple Heart Award, I moved to Los Angeles where I welcomed a beautiful baby girl.
Why Photography?
I never set out to get into the film/photography industry. But I’ve had a love for film since I was young. I get sucked into movies and get carried away into whatever story is being told. The Dark Knight is my all-time favorite film. In my humble opinion, photographs and capturing moments in time are the best gifts in life.
What’s your style?
I’m a fan of lifestyle photoshoots and natural lighting. Black and white photos are timeless and when editing, given the opportunity I can kill it! Music videos always get my creative juices flowing, anytime I can get involved in a music project I’m all in. My style is truly whatever the client envisions. I don’t box myself in and take pride in everything I do.
